Hi Jacquelyn, How fun! And don’t worry about being late. I’m frequently late, just because of senior home care duties, not to mention grandkid duty! But I just keep reminding myself that the young’uns rarely notice the calendar. They just enjoy the fun memories we are creating! Happy Advent!

I'm getting a bit of a late start with the advent wreath. Just purchased my supplies yesterday and will make one today. Years ago I made them and sold them! Haven't had one for a while and decided now that I have grands, it's time to restart the tradition. I wish I had thought of beeswax candles. Next year! I love the idea of making beeswax candles – the smell and the texture are both so wonderful! Is the fifth candle in your wreath in the middle? We always find a big white or cream candle to set in the middle of our wreath on Christmas Day. Thanks so much for your great links, and I also like your idea of walnuts and rice for my jars.
