Advent Music for Our Sandwich Generation Families – Angels We Have Heard On High

O Little Town of Bethlehem for the Sandwich Generation - picture si

As I wrote Wednesday, the sweet old Christmas carol, O Little Town of Bethlehem, is such a grand reminder to us of just ONE of the MANY prophecies fulfilled by the birth, death, and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. Singing it is a grand encouragement and a lovely way to spend time with our grandkids, our senior parents, our whole family, don't you think?  And oh, how I love this rendition of it by The Bill Gaither Vocal Band:

Have a blessed Christmas, a delightful Pause for Advent, and a peaceful and Spiritual Sunday today. And for all you caregivers out there, be sure to check back later today for a special edition of SandwichINK for the Sandwich Generation, as we join in the fun at the Caregiving Holiday Progressive Party. :)

P.S. Thank you so much for your comments. I appreciate them very much and read each one. I also do my best to reply to them all but, as you can imagine, there are times (many times, lately :) ) when caregiving needs do not allow for that. Thank you for your patience and your sweet comments.

I just listened you your carol and the words are new every time, arent’t they? Thanks so much for sharing it – we shall be singing English Christmas carols in a French church this evening, which is going to be lovely!
