Did you get a chance to listen to "I Am" yesterday? It's one of fellow baby boomer Marty Goetz' lovely praise and worship hymn songs and such a peaceful blessing for all of us in the Sandwich Generation – especially any of us going through trials and tribulations! If you missed it, just click here. 🙂
Today, I wanted to share one of his more lighthearted and fun songs (though it does still have an important message.) Marty Goetz is one of the many blessed Christian Messianic Jews and he shares his "biography" in this song, complete with some fun piano "dancing."
Wasn't that lively! I bet our grandchildren would love it as well – and what a delightful opportunity that gives us to talk about Jews today and the Nation of Israel and teach them about praying for Israel, Jerusalem, and Jews everywhere as well as sharing these uplifting Bible verses with them:
"Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: "May they prosper who love you." Psalm 122:6
"The LORD said to Abram, "Go forth from your country, And from your relatives And from your father's house, To the land which I will show you; And I will make you a great nation, And I will bless you, And make your name great; And so you shall be a blessing; And I will bless those who bless you, And the one who curses you I will curse. And in you all the families of the earth will be blessed." Genesis 12:1-3
Another fun way for the Sandwich Generation of leaving a spiritual legacy for our grandchildren! 🙂
