Hi Ron, How fun! With my grandparents and me, it was Chinese Checkers with my grandpa and Lawrence Welk with both of them – at Christmas and all year long.

Things I remember from hanging out with my grandparents during the Holidays are, playing tic-tac-toe, connect the dots, cards, chinese checkers, checkers, coloring, singing folk songs, crocheting, and singing christmas tunes. These memories are bitter-sweet, but it is something I will always remember!

These are great ideas, especially for me as a grandmother. I also know grandchildren, of all ages, love to help cook. I try to make meatballs or pizza, or cookies. They love to help – even to clean up!
